Clarify & Meet the Unique Needs of Each Project

Your team is already juggling various project-specific tasks of different sizes out in the field, so we’ve made each task easier to fill out. As an admin user of the Business tier, you’re able to set the team up for success by creating Custom Task Attributes (CTAs) for tasks created for your projects.

By tailoring these attributes under Project Settings, you can create clear, succinct lists of fields necessary to get ahead of, monitor, and complete the job. With this added flexibility, you can even hide default tasks to better fit your team’s needs.

Manage Up-to-Date Specifications for All Projects

Over the summer, we’ve also added a new Specifications tab under each project. As an Admin, you can upload and organize specifications documents to Fieldwire so your team members can easily access.

Beyond a simple storage of files, Fieldwire can help you maintain a single source of truth for your specifications documents. Change is often inevitable, and Fieldwire’s Version Conflict functionality can intelligently help you review changes between older and newer versions and ensure that your team is only working with the latest versions.

This year, Fieldwire has launched our new Project Management suite!

Collaborate Seamlessly on Forms

Just like the rest of the construction life cycle, filling out forms is oftentimes a collaborative task. From your daily reports to safety inspection forms, with just a few clicks under Permissions, your team’s admin users can allow all users to edit forms. This way, when multiple contributors are needed to complete a form, you can minimize back-and-forth between having to reassign who gets to edit.

Other exciting features like being able to assign due dates to each form or run quick, dynamic calculations (i.e. sum, average) have been added this year to keep your team on track and save everyone precious time.

Stay Ahead by Staying Organized

Whether it’s out in the field or at the office, staying organized is key to meeting deadlines and shortening time to ramp up new tradespeople every step of the way.

From your bid documents and RFPs to financial receipts, your files can be organized into folders and now subfolders to help you and your team find all of the necessary files more easily.
