Connect your projects to external apps and easily filter RFIs and Submittals with Fieldwire’s product updates
Fieldwire strives to be the all-in-one field management solution to construction teams of all sizes. We are constantly improving our platform based on customer feedback to develop new features, as well as updating existing ones, that will have a real impact for our users.
This quarter, we have improved the app’s features to make project management easier and communication seamless; we’ve also launched a new feature that will transform the way you access your documents.
Integrations
You can now connect Sharepoint and Google Drive to your Fieldwire projects and have all your documents accessible from only one app. This integration will automatically sync your files and folders from Sharepoint and Google Drive to your project files, making it a lot easier to access important information in the field! Additionally, users will soon be able to establish integrations with other external apps. This feature is available on Business and Business Plus plans.
New RFI and Submittal table filter
We have redesigned the RFIs and Submittals’ table filter to provide a more intuitive experience. With the new filter options, you can work more efficiently and isolate RFIs and submittals by Status, Company, Assignee, or Last Updated (to name a few). RFIs and Submittals are features available on Business Plus plans.
Contributor permissions on Submittals
You now have more control when managing Submittals in Fieldwire’s construction management app. Project administrators can designate team members as “Contributors” to oversee who has access to certain features of Submittals. If a Contributor attempts to create a submittal, they will see that the "New submittal" button is disabled. A message will appear to inform the Contributor that "Only Managers can create new submittals". This update is available on Business Plus plans.
