Productivity solutions for 2025: Budget, new Integrations, and more

If being more productive is one of your resolutions for this new year, Fieldwire has some exciting updates to help you and your teams work better and faster. With the new Budget feature you can easily manage your construction project’s financial health. Additionally, we’ve made updates to our existing app features so you can seamlessly communicate with your teams about tasks and project progress. Keep reading to learn more about our recent product releases.
New feature: Budget
Managing budgets can be stressful, but Fieldwire will make things easier. The new Budget module allows you to monitor your project’s financial health by breaking down scopes into various line items, assigning costs to subcontractors, and linking them to change orders to keep track of budget adjustments. Make the most out of our intuitive platform and use Fieldwire’s Budget module to make informed decisions and optimize the use of resources for your projects. Available on Business Plus plans.
Integrations: Outlook and Google calendars, MS Teams, and Entra ID
Connecting external apps with Fieldwire helps your teams save time by automating data entry. You can now expand your collaborative workspace with additional apps in our most recent update: Sync your Fieldwire tasks to Outlook and Google calendar, receive real-time Forms notifications in Microsoft Teams, and centralize identity management with Entra ID. Available on Business plans.
Upload fillable PDFs on Fieldwire
Fieldwire’s Forms module now supports fillable PDF uploads, enabling you and your teams to complete forms digitally while preserving their original layout —no need to recreate them within Fieldwire. Minimize manual paperwork by quickly completing forms digitally with fillable PDFs. Available on Business and Business Plus plans.
Request change orders from an email address
Like on RFIs and Submittals, you can now create and request change orders from an email address, in lieu of a project user. Your teams can make the most of the Change Orders feature even if their subcontractors are not yet on Fieldwire (you know, just until you convince them to try it for themselves!). Available on Business Plus plans.
BIM object tree
Use the object tree to navigate 3D models in an interactive hierarchy – by story or class – straight from the .IFC file. You can easily isolate areas or objects and find the information you need. Available on Business and Business Plus plans.
