In 2024, contractors around the world worked hard on exciting construction projects, and Fieldwire helped them deliver their work on time and within budget. More precisely, there were 630k new active projects created last year by customers using Fieldwire in 22 different languages.
With the Fieldwire web and mobile apps, construction workers were able to seamlessly communicate with their peers, view and annotate blueprints from the jobsite, manage tasks, and document defects. As we prepare for exciting improvements in 2025, let's take a look at the big numbers from 2024.
Last year, Fieldwire continued to help contractors save time on their construction projects. Customers report an average time savings of 5.2 hours a week (1 hour per day!). And they showed their satisfaction by rating our app 4.8 out of 5 stars on the App Store, and 4.5 on Google Play.
Fieldwire’s Support team was the MVPs of the year, keeping an average time for first response of 1.3 hours, and achieving 98% customer support satisfaction.
Top 2024 releases
By listening to our customers and understanding their needs, our teams continuously improve Fieldwire’s construction management software to provide greater value to construction companies of all sizes. In 2024, we released a great number of updates and new features. Here are the key additions to the platform for the year:
Budget
When it comes to budget, making informed decisions is the best way to optimize the use of resources. You can now do that using the new Fieldwire Budget module: break down scopes into various line items, assign costs to subcontractors, and link them to change orders to keep track of budget adjustments.
Integrations
Connecting your Fieldwire projects to external applications helps your teams save time and make collaboration easier. Thanks to 2024 product updates, customers can now sync the Fieldwire app to Outlook, Google Calendar, SharePoint, Google Drive, Microsoft Teams, Entra ID, and Power BI. Many more to come in 2025!
QR codes
To make it easier for teams to find tasks and blueprints onsite, Fieldwire added a QR codes feature. Generate, print and scan QR codes to quickly access information, such as punch items or location-specific plans.
Project templates
This update allows users to create a template from an existing project to standardize the ways their teams work – and, of course, save time while doing it.
